A SEX predator from Lochgelly filmed himself raping his lover as she slept.
Kevin Kinnell preyed on the woman at a flat in Cowdenbeath in May this year.
The 33-year-old was only interrupted when an alarm from a mobile phone went off.
A relative of the woman later became aware of the sick footage before Kinnell was arrested.
He today pleaded guilty to a rape charge at the High Court in Glasgow.
Kinnell was remanded in custody pending sentencing in February.
The clip of the attack was played during the hearing.
The woman can be seen virtually naked lying on a bed.
Prosecutor Stephen McCloy said: "She is visibly in a deep sleep and does not move."
Kinnell is also seen carrying out other indecent acts.
He later spoke to someone as to what had happened.
Mr McCloy said: "He admitted having videoed himself having sex while she was asleep."
Police later got hold of the footage after others became aware of it.
Sentencing was deferred for reports.
