FOLLOWING the General Election, Cardenden and Kinglassie MP, Peter Grant, officially re-opened his office on Friday December 13, after only a few hours of sleep.

In a light-hearted video posted on the MP’s social media page, Mr Grant and his staff were seen uncovering the office signage and getting back to business right away. Mr Grant’s office is open for public drop-ins Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am until 4pm. Tuesday and Thursdays will be appointment only and for telephone calls.

Commenting, Glenrothes MP Peter Grant said: “My office is back open as normal and here to serve the people of Glenrothes and Central Fife. I would like to thank everyone who have placed their trust in me once again and re-elected me as their MP and their voice in Westminster.

“Sadly, with the biggest Tory majority since Margaret Thatcher, Scotland now faces being pulled out of the EU against our will. We are now in a position that we have no other option but to have another say on our future. I look forward to campaigning over the coming year to persuade people that an Independent Scotland is the best for us and for the generations to come.”
