A BALLINGRY man will have to do 30 hours of unpaid work in the next six weeks if he doesn't want to end up in prison.
Colin Blyth appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for not completing enough hours as part of his community payback order for assaulting a police officer and throwing bins about.
Blyth, 32, of Malcolm Street, Ballingry, previously admitted that on June 25, 2018 at his home address, he did behave in a threatening or abusive manner which was likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm in that he did shout and swear and throw bins.
Also, he did assault a Constable then in the execution of her duty and did kick her on the body.
Sheriff Alastair Brown said: "This order is an alternative to custody.
"If you do not do the hours you will go to custody."
Blyth will appear for review on January 20.
