TRAFFIC flow between Lochgelly and Benarty was affected by flooding on Sunday evening when a water pipe burst.
The weather had caused a lot of problems with heavy showers seeing a lot of water fall, but the area heading north past Lochgelly High School was hit by more water when a pipe burst.
Workmen tackled the problem but not before a considerable volume of water escape and caused pools on the road north of the school.
One contributor to the Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page observed: "Just went through it, a pipe has burst, there’s water pouring out one pipe, and workmen are there trying to fix it."
Drivers had to take care passing through the area.
