PUPILS at Lochgelly High School are busy this week adding the final festive touches to the programme for their Christmas Concert which takes place next week.

This much-loved annual event takes place at 7pm on Wednesday December 11, at the Lochgelly Centre, and promises to be a wonderful evening as pupils showcase their musical talents.

Said LHS Principal teacher of music, Mandy Miller: "Pupils from a wide range of musical groups will perform on the night, including the award-winning Lochgelly High School Pipe Band, the Wind Band, the Steel Bands, the Brass Ensemble, the Woodwind Group, and the String Ensembles.

"The evening will finish in spectacular fashion with the now traditional, and moving finale, of “Highland Cathedral” by the Pipe Band and Wind Band.

"The pupils have been busily practising over the last few weeks and are excited to share what they have been learning with their friends and family and they would also be delighted to see all of you there too."

Tickets are £5 and are available from Lochgelly Centre Reception or online at www.ONFife.com and Mandy is hoping that there will be a full theatre for the production.
