POLICE are investigating a blaze in Ballingry on Saturday night, which is being regarded as suspicious by the authorities.
Firefighters from Lochgelly were called to a car fire in Ballingry Road at 9.30pm on Saturday evening.
One appliance was dispatched from the Lumphinnans Road fire station, and on arrival, the crew found the car to be well alight just down from the bus turning circle.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Inquiries are ongoing into a vehicle fire outside a property on Ballingry Road in Ballingry. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire and we can confirm that nobody was injured in the incident.
"The fire is being treated as deliberate and anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3770 of November 30 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111".
