A BALLINGRY woman who caused a disturbance after an argument about children has been placed on a community payback order.
Michelle Jarvie, 36, of Ballingry Crescent, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
She had previously admitted that on December 28 last year, at her home, she behaved in a threatening or abusive manner which was likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm when she shouted, swore and acted in an aggressive manner.
On the same date at Dunfermline Police Station, she also assaulted a police officer in execution of her duty by pushing her on the body.
Solicitor, James Moncrieff, said a dispute had started over children and his client accepted it had escalated.
Sheriff Kevin Veal placed Jarvie on a community payback order with supervision for 12 months for the disturbance in December.
He deferred sentencing on the other matter until April 29 for her to be of good behaviour.
