THE Christmas Lights switch-on in Cowdenbeath on Sunday evening was a massive success.
People packed into the newly revamped Green Square to see the town’s lights officially switched on.
There were kids, their parents and grandparents eager to take part in the switch-on organised by Cowdenbeath Civic Week Committee.
This was the first event held since the Green Square was upgraded earlier in the year and it was the perfect venue for the occasion.
There was entertainment from Mr Mowhawk who joined Santa in making it a grand occasion.
