YOU can branch out and help Cowdenbeath Environmental Group by planting a tree.
They're taking part in National Tree Planting Week, which is the UK's largest annual celebration of all things arboreal.
A spokesperson explained: "Trees do so much for us every day.
"They give us oxygen, store carbon, improve air quality, conserve water, preserve soil, support wildlife and are a key solution to climate change. "They also make our communities more beautiful and improve our wellbeing."
The week starts on November 23 with national tree planting day on November 30. The hope is that a million new trees can be planted in Britain.
