THE manager of Lochore Meadows Country Park has stressed that the actions of a driver this morning ended up occupying park staff for a considerable time to get their vehicle out of a tight spot.
Seven of the park's staff had to spend an hour this morning releasing a car from on top of a tree stump, and stuck in deep mud, because the driver elected to get to the side of the loch to 'walk their dogs'.
Said Park boss Ian Laing: "We got the vehicle out out using winches and a tractor but the motorist, who is a local person, will be receiving some correspondence from me.
"The message from the park is fairly clear in that we have barriers up for a purpose and damaging the infrastructure of the park for laziness purposes is simply not acceptable".
