A ROSYTH man is behind bars after being caught driving while disqualified for the fifth time.
Joe Arnott was arrested after ignoring his driving ban in Cowdenbeath.
Arnott, 30, of Burnside Crescent, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on November 16, at Gleaner petrol station, Cowdenbeath, he drove a car while disqualified and without insurance.
Defence solicitor James Moncrieff said: “He appreciates that a custodial sentence will be uppermost in the court’s mind.”
Sheriff James MacDonald called for reports and Arnott will be sentenced on December 11.
Bail was refused with the sheriff telling Arnott: “Looking at your record, you pay scant regard to court orders.”
