PLANS which would see two new classrooms added to Masterton Primary have been submitted to Fife Council.
Planning permission is being sought which would see the creation of a single-storey extension to house two classrooms in the north-west corner of the site.
Fife Council team manager Dawn Cook confirmed their plans for the two-classroom extension.
“Due to recent housing development planning consents, the current roll projections indicate two more classrooms are needed at the school,” she explained.
“Construction should start in Spring 2020 with the two new rooms ready for the start of the new session in August 2020.
“This extension is to be fully funded by developers, and Section 75 legal agreements are now in place for planning obligations from each of the contributing housing sites.”
