A COWDENBEATH teenager bit two police officers after she was arrested.

Amber Clark, 19, of School Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

She admitted that on May 8, at School Street, she assaulted a police officer by attempting to headbutt him, bit him on the arm and kicked him.

She also admitted she assaulted another constable by biting him on the arm.

Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said police attended at Clark’s home at 1.40pm to execute an outstanding arrest warrant on her.

Clark tried to close the door on the officers but one of them put their foot inside.

“She was then arrested and was not happy about this. She was screaming and bit one of the officers on the arm,” added the depute.

Clarke tried to headbutt this officer then bit a second constable on the arm, the court was told.

Defence solicitor Roshni Joshi said her client “accepts she over-reacted”.

Sheriff Alastair Brown called for reports and Clark will be sentenced on December 10.
