A CARDENDEN man has been sentenced for sending threatening messages to his former partner.
Christopher King, 37, of Cardenden Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on September 28, at Auchterderran Road, Lochgelly, he sent text messages to his former partner which contained threats of violence.
The messages included: “I actually want to punch your c*** in and slap your p**** wee man about. I can’t wait to see you face to face.”
Sheriff Charles MacNair pointed out it was King’s second domestic conviction. He told him: “This was a significant threat of violence.”
The sheriff imposed a 12-month non-harassment order and fined King £400.
