TICKETS are now being distributed for the 2019 Elderly Forum being held on Friday November 22 by Central Fife Crime Prevention Panel.

The Forum is all about given local senior citizens a special day out of entertainment, a bite to eat and key crime prevention advice.

The panel meeting on Wednesday heard from PC Gary Chrystal that everything was in place for the 22nd with Jodi Lamont providing the entertainment along with local schoolchildren.

Said PC Chrystal: "Everything will get underway at noon with a cup of tea and sandwiches and the entertainment will follow.

"There will also be Crime Prevention Officer Fraser Laird with some important advice for our senior citizens as we head in to winter."

Treasurer Betty Wotherspoon reported that the local business community had again been very generous with the supplying of prizes for the free raffle on the day.

Tickets are being circulated through a number of outlets including community shops in Lochgelly and Benarty.
