A DUNFERMLINE man was banned from driving after being caught behind the wheel without a licence.
However, that did not stop Dominik Grysziewicz from offending and he was then caught driving when disqualified.
Grysziewicz, 27, of McDonald Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court accompanied by a translator.
He admitted that on September 17 in North Road, Inverkeithing, he drove while disqualified and without insurance.
Defence solicitor Roshni Joshi said: “It was a very silly decision on his part.”
Sheriff Charles MacNair commented: “He’s never been allowed to drive in this country.
“He was caught driving four times before he was disqualified and now he has been caught again.”
The sheriff told Grysziewicz: “You seem determined to drive even though you are not entitled to do so.”
He warned him that if he continued to offend he was facing a jail sentence.
Sheriff MacNair imposed a community payback order with 160 hours of unpaid work, a 32-months driving ban and a £400 fine.
