THE open day held by the Re-Employ social enterprise, in Crosshill, saw social enterprises from all over Scotland come to Benarty to see how the BRAG based organisation operates.

The event was very well attended by visitors, including social enterprises from as far away as Dumfries, and also potential new customers.

The day was about promoting the many skills of the multi challenged workforce of Re-Employ, the team proudly displaying the quality goods that are supplied by them.

The workforce had the opportunity to show what they do and how they do it and enjoyed the day.

Gordon Reid, Business Development Manager at Re-Employ, said: “I am really excited with the new opportunities we can bring to the Crosshill Centre based social enterprise.

“I am looking forward to engaging with other new business in Fife and indeed throughout Scotland.”

Irene Donaldson, who founded the company after the closure Remploy, in Cowdenbeath, over four years ago, said: “I am delighted with how the day went and I am really excited by the opportunities we can create to continue supporting our employees and volunteers.”
