FORMER Cowdenbeath woman, Greta Kirkwood Andresen, will have work featured in a London exhibition which will be held in November and December.

Greta, daughter of former Times editor, George S Hutchison, will have a series of photographs displayed at The Grey Gallery, 11 Spittalfields, London.

The photographs are from her latest series, ‘The Sanctuary’ selected for the Royal Academy of Arts London Summer Exhibition 2019.

Greta will be joined in the exhibition, which runs from November 15 to December 8, by works from Peter Abrahams, Miranda Argyle, Marc Atkins, Jock McFadyen, Liz Rideal and Covadonga Valdes.

Greta explained that the display from her are photographs of dereliction ‘which present the aspirations for living’.

The promotional pack said: “Her interiors expose a sense of being and the exterior shots of these ruins and their place of landscape remind us of life’s transience. In transit for better or worse.”
