Primary School the coffee makers and bakers were busy from very early in the school day.
And it was just as well as there was no shortage of business for them at the St Pat's Macmillan Coffee morning!
Said the school's Brianna O'Donnell: "It was a huge success and Primary 7 did a fantastic job! We managed to raise £386 in total and a big thanks to everyone who took part"!
Meanwhile staff from Crannoch Care, who provide residential care for young people between the age of 8 and 19 and have their head office based in Lochgelly, brushed up on their baking skills and held a coffee morning to raise funds for MacMillan.
Fife MSP Alex Rowley joined with the staff and residents of the Ore Valley Business Centre, in Lochgelly, to sample the home baking and raise funds.
Mr Rowley said the baking was the ‘best I have tried in a long time’ and thanked all the staff who gave up their time and made such an effort to make the coffee morning a great success.
