IF you live in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area and have a disability or health issue the Positive Pathways programme could help.

Roadshows are taking place around Fife from September to November to help people with a disability or health issues to find a job, and to stay in work, and an event is taking place in Cowdenbeath on Thursday October 3.

Fife Council delivers the Positive Pathways programme, which helps people with disabilities, health problems, mental health issues and disabling conditions to find and keep a job of eight hours or more.

Said a spokesperson for the council: "The Positive Pathways programme helps anyone who is struggling to keep their current job due to a disability or health condition.

"The council’s Supported Employment Service is holding sessions across Fife, where people can speak with experienced staff about available support and options to find and keep a job. The service can talk with job seekers and employers about vacancies or work opportunities and

support available for employers".

The Positive Pathways programme roadshows take place from 10am - 2pm at the following locations and on Thursday October 3 the Cowdenbeath Roadshow will take place at Brunton House, at the Fountain, just go along, no appointment is required.
