A COWDENBEATH street has been suffering from sewage coming up drains since last week's heavy rain struck.
Residents have been suffering from obnoxious odours and dodging faeces at times.
Said one resident: "Drylie Street in Cowdenbeath was covered in human faeces at the end of last week. It was like a river of poo after one heavy shower.
"Neighbours have been complaining about the smell in their cars when driving through. Various manholes and gullies seem blocked. The council don't seem to clean the gullies and Scottish Water don't seem to have cleared any blockage or disinfected affected areas."
The resident added last night: "Eight days after being reported the faeces was still running down the street this morning."
Cowdenbeath councillor Gary Guichan has agreed to take up the matter with the council transportation department.
