A FALLING out between two sisters resulted in a bingo hall bust-up.

The incident led to Shirley Adams appearing in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

Shirley Adams, 41, of West High Street, Buckhaven, admitted that between October 23-25, she sent messages to Kelly Adams and threatened to kill her and damage her property.

She also admitted that on October 25, at Carlton Bingo Hall, Fife Leisure Park, Dunfermline, she struggled with Kelly Adams whereby she was struck and injured.

Depute fiscal Dev Kapadia said that the accused sent threatening messages to her sister via social media.

These included: “I’m going to kill you Kelly”, “You’re dead when I get my hands on you” and “I’ll smash your car in”.

The sisters then came into each other’s company at the bingo hall at 6.50pm.

Comments were exchanged and a “physical confrontation between the two” followed.

Kelly Adams was injured as a result, added the depute. Staff at the bingo hall saw the incident and the police were contacted.

Sheriff James MacDonald deferred sentence until November 20 for Adams to be of good behaviour.
