A KELTY man who threatened to post intimate images of a woman in a revenge porn incident has been jailed.

Ross Cunningham, 28, of Seafar Drive, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on April 18, he threatened to publish a number of intimate photographs and films on social media without the woman’s consent.

He also admitted that on July 11, he breached bail conditions preventing him entering Cowdenbeath and contacting the woman.

Depute fiscal Jade Doig told the court that Cunningham had threatened to post the photos on Facebook.

Defence solicitor Roshni Joshi said her client had been under the influence of alcohol when he made the threat.

Sheriff James MacDonald said the offence would appear to be “the very essence of revenge porn”.

He jailed Cunningham for a total of nine months and one week.
