A MAN who threatened his ex-partner with violence then failed to turn up for court hearings is behind bars.
George Watson, 44, formerly of Carden Castle Park, Cardenden, and now of Hyndhead Hostel, Buckhaven, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on June 1 last year, at an address in Cardenden, he shouted, swore and acted in an aggressive manner and made threats of violence towards his ex-partner.
He also admitted he was in possession of a controlled drug, diazepam.
Watson further admitted that he failed to appear in court on two occasions.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and sentence was deferred until July 31. Bail was refused and Watson was remanded in custody.
