COMMUNITY groups delivering activities and services in Cowdenbeath, Crossgates and Mossgreen and Hill of Beath, are encouraged to apply to the next funding round of the Mossmorran Wind Farm Ltd Community Fund.
The closing date is Friday September 20 with decisions being made by the local Community Panel in early November. Groups can apply for £250 - £1,000.
It’s important to ensure the project you are applying for does not start before the middle of November as this will make the application ineligible.
The Fund is provided by the owner and operator of the Mossmorran Wind Farm and is managed by grant-making charity Foundation Scotland.
A representative from Foundation Scotland said: “This fund provides a great opportunity for local groups to turn an idea into a reality.
"We know that many groups have the ideas to enhance their work, but don’t have the financial resources to make it happen. Hopefully this fund will change this and inspire those groups to apply.”
