Police dealt with incident involving a man on carriageway.
THE M90 at Kelty was closed for a spell on Sunday lunchtime after a police incident.
The motorway was closed between Junction 3 at Halbeath and Junction 4 at Kelty after 1.20pm.
The incident involved a man being on the carriageway and the road had to be shut while the man, who it was reported sustained serious injuries, was rushed to hospital.
The tailbacks soon built up and ran for around three miles but by mid afternoon traffic was again flowing between the junctions.
