A GROUP of friends from Crossgates who 'put the world to rights' over a cuppa every fortnight have raised £600 for charity.
Margaret Black and her team of family, friends and neighbours organised a garage sale for Guide Dogs West Fife (GDWF) on Saturday.
Her front garden was adorned with bunting, balloons and gazebos while her back garden offered up burgers, teas and a selection of cakes.
Diane MacLeod, funding group coordinator for GDWF, thanked them for their support.
She said: "These ladies are amazing fundraisers!
"Eager to raise money for charities, the ladies decided on a garage sale and selected Guide Dogs to be their first recipient.
"Margaret has since phoned to say she thinks their total raised is just over £600 - an amazing total!
"Being fundraisers ourselves, we fully appreciate the work that went to the organisation before, during and after the event."
Diane attended the event with puppy walker Karin Strachan and her six-month-old golden retriever in training, Reggie.
