A BALLINGRY man assaulted a police officer by kicking her and then lashed out with his legs, striking another constable.
Colin Blyth, 32, of Malcolm Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on June 25 last year at Malcolm Street he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and throwing bins.
Blyth also admitted he assaulted a female police officer by kicking her.
He then resisted two female police officers and kicked out with his legs whereby one of the constables was struck on the face.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and Blyth will be sentenced on July 9.
