PROJECTS worth £540,000 are to go ahead in Lochgelly, Cardenden and Benarty to upgrade roads.
Cowdenbeath Area Committee heard that the largest spend is £230,000 on the stretch of the B981 between Cardenden and Cluny which would be getting a full resurfacing.
Meanwhile Woodend Road in Cardenden will get a full length resurfacing at a cost of £170,000 and also in line for projects are North Street, in Lochgelly, and Catherine Terrace in Crosshill.
Both are full length projects with the Lochgelly project at a cost of £90,000; and the Crosshill one £50,000.
The four schemes are down as category two priority which means they will take place over the next one to two years.
