THIS week's Down Memory Lane photographs come from one of our exiles.

Lesley Reid is originally from Ballingry but left the area in 1978 but has a lot of photos handed down to her through her parents.

Now living in Kent, Lesley loves looking at our Down Memory Lane feature on the Times website and felt that these pictures would be worth airing.

The only problem is she does not have much information about these other than they were all taken in the Benarty area in the first part of the 20th century.

There is a street shot from she thinks the Lochore area, and a family shot from Gencraig/Crosshill. There is a shot of four people involved at either the Mary or Glencraig Collieries and the last shot shows some men, it seems, visiting one of the local farms. If anyone can help Lesley with more info she would be delighted.

If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.do.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
