A SPECIAL evening of nostalgic music is being held at Lochgelly's St Finnians Church next week.
It is a time of change at the Lumphinnans Road church with the Rev Margaret Dineley having left to go to Edinburgh.
The congregation are now seeking a Priest-in-Charge but this will take most of the year to undertake. In the meantime, with assistance from other clergy twice a month, there are now lay two worship leaders taking services and one of them, is Ross Stirling.
Said Ross: "One of my roles just now is to organise any forthcoming concerts and we have one coming up on Friday June 14 at 7pm.
"It features Benita & Ray and 1940's Nostalgic Numbers, quite fitting with the 75th anniversary taking place of the D Day landings".
Tickets are £5 and you can contact Ross for further info on 07947321687 or email him at rossstirling81@hotmail.co.uk
