THE Avenue, in Lochgelly, already the site of a new housing development of over 100 houses, could be the place of construction of even more homes.
Omnivale Ltd, Beverley Batty Manor House Farm, East Drayton, have submitted to Fife Council a proposal of Application Notice for residential development, associated car parking, open space, landscaping, drainage and formation of new access at land to the south of The Avenue, in Lochgelly, effectively across the road from the Easy Living development currently under construction.
It is expected that this new development, if it goes ahead, will also see a substantial addition to the town increasing Lochgelly's population to over 10,000.
Concerns about education facilities and the health centre are bound come forward.
