THIS week's Down Memory Lane pictures come from the collection of former Cardenden man Jimmy Sinclair.
Some of them are indeed real collectors' items and among them is a picture of the St Fothad's Guides from 1932 and there is also a shot of Bowhill Bowhill Bowling Club members, from the 1940s, in front of the Institute.
Then there is an intriguing picture of hat was called The Double Block. The large housing block, which is now Cluny Park, was the site of the first bus stop in the village coming from Kirkcaldy and held that name even after the buildings were demolished. Then there is The Round House, taken in the 1890s which eventually was demolished in 1963 when the Royal Bank building replaced it.
If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
