A LOCHORE woman locked herself in her bedroom to get away from her angry son.

Scott Walker then kicked a hole in the door and shouted through it.

Walker became upset after being told how much money he owed for shopping to his mum.

The incident led to Walker, 40, of Ivanhoe Avenue, appearing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on April 5, at home, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing at his mum, acted aggressively and kicked a door – causing damage to it, placing her in a state of fear and alarm.

Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said that, at 3.45pm, Walker became unhappy after being told he owed his mum £160 for shopping.

His mum had then locked herself in her bedroom because of his behaviour.

Walker kicked a hole in the door and shouted through to her.

Later, she went into the bathroom and locked the door as Walker’s tirade continued.

Sheriff James Macdonald deferred sentence until August 15 for good behaviour.

It is not the first time Walker has been in court for offences where his mum has been the target.

He has previous convictions for vandalising her garden and for grabbing her hair after she asked him to turn his music down.
