A LOCHGELLY man committed a domestic offence against his wife and then breached bail conditions imposed to protect her.
David Montague, 40, of Lumphinnans Road, appeared from custody for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on March 12, at his home, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by swearing and acting aggressively towards his wife and uttered abusive remarks towards her.
He was put on a community payback order with 45 hours of unpaid work for that offence.
Montague also admitted breaching bail conditions imposed on March 13 by calling his wife repeatedly the following day.
For this offence, he was jailed for three months and this was backdated to March 14 when he was remanded in custody.
