THE Friends of Lochore Meadows Group are still seeking people's views on the facilities at the country park but time is getting short.

The recently established Friends of Lochore Meadows Group are seeking people's views on all aspects of the Country Park.

The group launched a Survey in March in order to establish current uses of the park, what people think about the park at the present time, and future improvements which can possibly be made.

But the Survey ends at the end of this month so there are only a few weeks left to get your views over.

The group are keen to hear from all age groups from the local and wider communities as regards to options, ideas and aspirations which could formulate into an Action Plan for the organisation.

Said a spokesperson for the Group: "Lochore Meadows is now the most popular, and most visited park in Fife and it is extremely important that the community have a voice in determining the future developments which will impact on people of all ages and circumstances.

"The Country Park has fantastic amenities at present and these can be built on over time to ensure the activities and facilities are safe, welcoming, inclusive, and that there is something to suit everyone.

"The Consultation being undertaken can be accessed via the link below, and there are also paper copies in all the Community Centres around the Cowdenbeath area, along with copies being available within the Park Centre and Outdoor Education Centre".

Councillor Alex Campbell feels it is important hat people make their views known.

He said: "The park is Fife's biggest visitor attraction but the Friends of Lochore Meadows Group want to be sure that they know what the people of the surrounding communities think about it and what they see as the way ahead.

"If you have an idea which you would like to see progressed at the Meedies fill in the Survey form either online or the paper version and make sue it is handed in before the end of May."
