A MOTORIST has been banned after he drove dangerously on roads next to the Fife Leisure Park in Dunfermline.
Ross Cunningham’s erratic driving included repeatedly overtaking in the nearside lane and swerving across lanes.
As a result, Cunningham, 27, of Seafar Drive, Kelty, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on June 19 last year, at Sanderling Way and Sandpiper Drive, Dunfermline, he drove a car dangerously, accelerated aggressively at speed, drove at a speed which was excessive for the road and traffic conditions, repeatedly passed vehicles on the nearside, overtook another vehicle when his view of the road was not clear and swerved across lanes of traffic, all near to the entrance of a leisure park.
Sheriff Derek Reekie called for reports and Cunningham will be sentenced on May 22. An interim driving ban was imposed until then.
