FIFE Trades Union Council are holding a very important event this Saturday.
The event is their May Day March and Rally on May 4. Starting from the Mercat in Kirkcaldy at 10:30am they will march through the town and then move to the Rally to be held once again in the KUSI Club. Speakers on the day will include Dave Moxam, Deputy General Secretary of the STUC.
Ballingry man, Tam Kirby, chair of Fife TUC said: “May Day, or International Workers Day as we call it, is the day workers all over the world take as a celebration and a show of international solidarity.
"Fife TUC would invite everyone to come and march with us and celebrate the victories workers all over the world have won".
