A MAN who assaulted three women in 2016 was jailed last week for 21 months.

Alan Davidson appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on April 17.

He was sentenced to 15 months in custody for the assaults but was also given another six months for failing to appear at Court back in January.

Davidson, 37, of Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, previously admitted that on July 2, 2016, at Fraser Drive, Lochgelly, he did assault his partner, residing there and did kick her on the head to her injury.

He also previously admitted to assaulting a second woman on the same day in that he did punch and kick her on the head and the body to her injury.

And, he assaulted a third woman in that he did seize her by the body, push her to the body and repeatedly punch her on the head to her injury.

Also, being an accused person having been granted bail on August 10, 2018, and being subject to the condition that he would appear at the time and place appointed for any diet of which he had been given due notice, did on January 15, 2019, without reasonable excuse, fail to appear at a diet at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
