THIS week's Down Memory Lane pictures come from the collection of books of Cowdenbeath woman Mary Burt.

These are Old Cowdenbeath by Jim Hutcheson, Old Lochgelly by Rhona Wilson and Bygone Days of Benarty by Benarty Millennium Group.

These include a shot of Station Road in Lochgelly from the 1930s with the railway station featured along with the Nellie Colliery on the left hand side.

The others show family groups from John Street, in Crosshill, from the late 1930s; the Home Guard outside Ballingry Manse in the early 1940s; and Lochore Juvenile Pipe Band, who were a very successful group of musicians, as can be seen from their trophy collection.

If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
