A MOTORIST who had no licence stole fuel from a Cowdenbeath petrol station and was then caught drink-driving.
Kaine Baxter, 21, of Springbank Road, Alyth, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on April 2, at Gleaner Gas Centre, Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, he stole a quantity of fuel.
He also admitted that in Foulford Road, Cowdenbeath, he drove without being the holder of a driving licence and without insurance.
Baxter further admitted that in Drylie Street, Cowdenbeath, he drove having consumed excess alcohol. His reading was 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 22 microgrammes.
The court heard Baxter was already on a community payback order.
Sheriff Derek Reekie called for reports and Baxter will be sentenced on May 1.
