THE ONFife mobile library is making improvements to the times of the Hill of Beath, Crossgates and Kingseat stops.

It visits the area every second Friday and some small changes have been booked in.

Following a review of the routes and stops, there are some alterations to the times of some Friday stops to help improve access for Crossgates users and address a traffic congestion problem in Hill of Beath.

Leafleting of houses in these areas will take place to promote the new times and existing customers have been advised of the changes.

Said a library service spokesperson: “Mobile library timetables will be changing from Monday.

“Whilst most stops and times in the Cowdenbeath area remain the same, the following stops on every second Friday are changing to these new times from April 12.

"Dates of all stops are available on the website: Swinton’s Place, Hill of Beath 12.30pm –1pm; Springhill Brae, Crossgates 1.10pm to 1.40pm; Main Street, Crossgates 3.05pm to 3.35pm; and Church Street, Kingseat 3.50pm to 4.15pm.”
