FIFE COUNCIL is to take action to slow traffic on Farm Road in Cowdenbeath after concerns about speeding.
Local MSP Annabelle Ewing welcomed the move and said she has written to the local authority asking for further details and a timetable for changes.
She said: “I am really pleased that Fife Council have committed to taking action to slow down traffic on Farm Road.
“It has been clear for some time that there was a particular problem here and this promise to introduce measures to address the problem is very welcome indeed.
“I have written to the council to welcome the undertaking that they have given and asking for further information regarding what precisely the next steps will be and what sort of timetable is envisaged before we will see physical changes to Farm Road, which will address the traffic issues that local residents and myself have been highlighting over the years.”
