A CARDENDEN man branded a “public nuisance” by a sheriff for his repeat offending was back in the dock a few days later.
Stephen Paterson, 41, of Kirkburn Drive, appeared again at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on January 12, at his home, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner and struggled with a woman whereby she was struck on the head.
Sheriff Derek Reekie called for reports and Paterson will be sentenced on April 24.
His latest court appearance came just a week after Sheriff James MacDonald put Paterson on a community payback order and called him a “public nuisance”.
This was for threatening to jump in front of cars and also making a false alarm call to the emergency services, saying that a house in Ballingry was on fire.
Paterson has repeatedly landed in court in recent years for drunken hoax calls to the emergency services.
