A DRIVER took a car on to the B920 without a tyre on one of the wheels and it ended up causing an accident.
Last September Stewart Smith, 32, of Martin Crescent, Ballingry, took the vehicle on to Main Street, Crosshill, Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court heard.
Smith, 32, of Martin Crescent, admitted on Wednesday, that he drove a vehicle dangerously in that it did not have a tyre fitted to the front off-side wheel, he lost control of the vehicle causing it to enter the opposing carriageway and collide with another car, causing damage to both vehicles.
Sheriff Pino Di Emidio called for criminal justice and social inquiry reports and Smith will re-appear on Tuesday April 23. The Sheriff disqualified him from driving in the interim.
