YOUNG Leaders and Ambassadors at Beath took part in an introductory session on British Sign Language.
These pupils hope to offer provision to cluster pupils with Hearing Impairments using the skills they gained from the Deaf Communication Service during our next academic year.
The Beath pupils who took part were, Rhona Wilson, Mia McLean and Peyton Brown. Mia and Peyton are also attending a deaf and dumb course in September to supplement this work.
Topics covered during this invaluable workshop included Finger Spelling, Numbers, General Short Conversations and Sport Signs.
