POLICE have made a request for information following an assault on a woman driving a mobility scooter on the path which runs behind the Shimla Palace restaurant and Central Park football ground, in Cowdenbeath.
Cowdenbeath Police Officers are investigating the assault that occurred at 3.30pm on Wednesday March 13 on the footpath that runs behind The Shimla Palace and the football ground and links with Chapel Street.
This was an incident that happened in mid-afternoon and on a bright sunny day on a very well-used path linking the central area of the town with Broad Street.
Said the Cowdenbeath Communty Police team on their twitter site: "The victim was a female on a mobility scooter. Any information can be passed onto officers by phoning 101 #Shameful #OpPath "
