FOLLOWING an information and selection day at Kirkcaldy High School, two Beath High School pupils have been successful in being selected to undertake Barista Training through work placements at Costa Coffee.

The school sent along 11 of the school's S5 pupils, who joined over 60 of their peers, in workshops run by Costa Coffee and then undertook some selection processes.

Costa Coffee have opened up six of their Fife outlets to take young people on a Barista training journey.

Congratulations went to Ella Lawrence and Rachel Middleton who impressed the Costa crew with their employability skills.

The girls will now start their training programme within Costa Coffee and hopefully secure some excellent life skills as a Barista.

The school would like to thank Costa Coffee for their enthusiasm and work in making this training opportunity available to their young people. The unsuccessful candidates also gained valuable information and selection process experience.
