THE International Women's Day event at Lochgelly Centre saw the five generations of a local family all come together.

The event saw Nan Pearson, 93, from Cluny, with daughter Morag; granddaughter Claire Kinnaird; great-granddaughters Katie Kinnaird, Bethany Kinnaird and Claire Kinnaird and great-great granddaughters Madeline Pearson and Katie McDonald, captured by our photographer Ted Milton.

Said Nan: "It was a lovely day and it was great to be able to get everyone together."

The International Women's Day event attracted 90 women and children to the Centre who enjoyed afternoon tea and then an item about Jennie Lee, the Lochgelly woman who, as a member of Harold Wilson's Cabinet in the 1960s, helped steer the Open University into being.
