THE pupils and staff of Crossgates Primary School had a brilliant day on Thursday celebrating World Book Day.
The youngsters are all keen readers and were delighted to get the chance to reflect their favourite character.
Said Crossgates' Principal teacher, Jemma Thomas: "The children had reat fun all the dressed up as their favourite character.
"Our theme this year was Oor Wullie as we have been nominated to design an Oor Wullie which will be part of the Oor Wullie Big Bucket Trail #OWBBT over the summer in Edinburgh. We are the only Fife school to have one so it’s a real honour!"
